A block is like a container filled with a lot of transactions and the combination of many blocks form a Blockchain. An explorer operates like google but only transactions can be searched for.

What is a Block explorer?
For example, Tunde uploaded a transaction photo and said he sent Joan some bitcoins and Joan haven’t received any bitcoins yet. Curious to know why she hasn’t gotten the bitcoins Tunde said he sent to her, Joan  found a block explorer, then input her receiving wallet address in the search area and figured out that Tunde truly sent the bitcoins to her but they its been pending due to bitcoin confirmation speed to arrive in few minutes.

So a block explorer is a web-based tool that allows users to view information or transactions stored on a blockchain. Block explorers typically provide a user-friendly interface for users to explorer the contents of a blockchain, including transaction histories, account balances, and other relevant information.

Block explorers are commonly used by cryptocurrency enthusiasts, developers, and investors who are interested in monitoring the progress of a particular blockchain or cryptocurrency.

They can also be useful for verifying transactions, tracking funds, and investigating potential fraud or other suspicious activity.
